Powerbuilt Tools is proud to announce its partnership with Caruso Family Racing and driver Camrie Caruso for her Pro Stock racing debut for the NHRA 2022 race series.

Powerbuilt Tools is proud to announce its partnership with Caruso Family Racing and driver Camrie Caruso for her Pro Stock racing debut for the NHRA 2022 race series.

She's making history as just the second female driver to run pro stock full time. Camrie will be driving her Powerbuilt Tools, Chevy Camaro, for the first two NHRA races of the year, Lucas Oil Winternationals and the Arizona Nationals. The excitement surrounding 22-year-old Camrie Caruso's breakthrough to Pro Stock racing is setting the NHRA, media, and fans a buzz.

Camrie has been driving since she was eight years old as a third-generation drag racer in the legendary Caruso family. She has been steadily working her way up since starting in the Juniors Dragster League and hasn't stopped moving up through the classes until landing in the Pro Stock big leagues. Camrie brings passion, determination, and persistence to the track every time she straps in. With that experience and passion, along with a top-notch team supporting her, Camrie looks to fulfill her dreams of earning multiple championships.

She's got a hell of a crew, and we think they're going to make a big splash in NHRA.

The connection between Powerbuilt Tools and Caruso Family Racing started in 2020 during the early stages of the COVID pandemic. With races and events shut down, Team Caruso Camrie and Marc wanted to keep in touch with and entertain racing fans during the forced hiatus, so they started a weekly online show, Quarantine with the Carusos, which then turned into, Tool Time Tuesday. Greg Livingston and Desiree Martinez of Powerbuilt Tools were weekly guests to talk about tools and industry innovations. From those weekly conversations, the relationship evolved into a mutually beneficial partnership.

On NHRA on Fox, Greg Livingston of Powerbuilt Tools said of the new partnership with Camrie Caruso, "We're super excited. I know she's going to do extremely well. It's awesome to see Marc and Papa Joe supporting her dream. She's got a hell of a crew, and we think they're going to make a big splash in NHRA. We're looking forward to partnering up with her."

It does seem like a perfect fit to have a tool company on the side of a car that's rocketing down a track at 200 plus miles per hour.

On the partnership with Powerbuilt Tools, Camrie told NHRA on Fox host Brian Lohnes, "They've(Powerbuilt Tools) have been great additions to the team, and we're super excited to have their support. They outdid themselves on how the car looks." Host Brian Lohnes said of the partnership between Caruso Racing and Powerbuilt Tools, "You know Greg, tools are such an important part of drag racing," "so it does seem like a perfect fit to have a tool company on the side of a car that's rocketing down a track at 200 plus miles per hour." A perfect fit indeed. Recognized for their high-quality Powerbuilt tools are filling the toolboxes of several race teams this year.

Look out for the Powerbuilt Camaro and cheer on Camrie Caruso's debut Pro Stock race at Lucas Oil Winternationals in Pomona, CA., on February 17-20, and the Arizona Nationals in Phoenix AZ., on February 25-27th. We are sure Camrie, supported by Caruso Racing, will put on a great show in a great-looking car. Show up in person and feel the excitement as these cars roar down the track. Be sure to visit Camrie’s merchandising trailer to sign up for our PB newsletter to be entered to win a fully loaded PB Rapid Box at the end of the race season in Pomona. We hope to see you there.

Good luck, Camrie!
